In Synchro Control, we can set the scope to "Top Assembly", which allows us to select part of a cell (from ORD/microstation) and the Properties tab will display the full parent element properties, which is where we have item type data attached. In field, this is not an option. If we select part of a cell, Field only reports the Properties of whatever part has been selected. There is no way to change the "Scope" setting that we've found, and there is no way to navigate to the parent element through the properties. This means we can't view item type or other data in Synchro Field even though it is visible in Control.
